Perfect Number Summer Festival
Summer is usually packed with music festivals and some of our favorite social events. We typically spend it out with our friends, travelling to great places, doing beach days and attending concerts throughout the city. Summer 2020 is different. It is coming to an end with events that continue to be canceled and people staying safe at home. In a time of social distancing, here at PERFECT NUMBER, we search for ways to entertain ourselves and our community.
In hopes to celebrate the summer in the best way we can, we have put together a small Digital Festival where we will highlight artists, musicians, film directors, and more. The festival ranges from inspiring films, dreamy music, and politically charged art. We curated all types of artists and people to bring you a taste of summer while being indoors. We hope that through this PN Festival we bring you some entertainment as well as introduce you to some artists that continue to inspire us. These artists will be joining us throughout August, including IG Lives every Tuesday, from singer-songwriter Peyton, film director Erica Eng, Grammy winning singer Anna Wise, actress, and Ikebana artist Yoa Mizuno.
Peyton is an R&B singer, songwriter and performer based in Houston, Texas whose music captures the beauty and pleasures of the world through sweet sounds. Peyton’s songs are a window into her world, where music is a powerful healing tool.
Erica is a fourth-generation Chinese American director whose work has been showcased at the New Orleans Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival. Her work focuses on the diverse community in which she was raised in.
Anna Wise - Grammy winning singer, songwriter and performer. Her EP and new albums The Feminine: Acts I & II dive into the everyday troubles of being a woman in our world. As a mother who is breastfeeding past the “typical cut off age” Anna will also talk with us about motherhood from her unique perspective.
Yoa Mizuno - Japanese actress who was born and raised in Tokyo. From a young age, Yoa practiced a variety of art forms including ballet, music, acting, and Ikebana. She received her Ikebana certification at the age of 18 and continues this multi-faceted art path today in Los Angeles.
